Heather is Liam's proud Mom. In the 3 short weeks Liam was with us, he changed her heart and life forever. Liam's love and light continue to have a ripple effect in this world, and she is committed to improving epilepsy outcomes for other families. 60% of epilepsy cases have an unknown cause. We can’t wait to live in a world where rare, unknown, and incurable have a much lower percentage. Heather has always been energized by giving back and helping others and has worked with a number of nonprofits. Heather has also worked for Morgan Stanley for the past 17 years and is an Executive Director on the Institutional Equity Electronic Trading Desk.
Kyle is Liam's proud dad who wants his beautiful boy to know how much we miss him and love him with everything we do. Kyle grew up in greater philadelphia, graduated from springfield township high school in 2002 and penn in 2006. He spent his first three years out of college in public accounting, performed HR sales for one year, and has spent the last 13 years in a business development role with a global distribution firm. Kyle has performed many volunteer roles, most recently as a board member of Joseph's House of Camden from 2015 - 2023, and is now grateful to commit his volunteer efforts toward pediatric epilepsy research. Heather, Emma and Liam are the light of Kyle's life and his other biggest joys are spending time with family and friends, ideally outside as much as possible.
Kimberly Bronstein is Chief HR Officer at Treasure Data, a global software technology company. Her passion for supporting people and helping them find their super power and niche is paramount to her position. She believes that everyone has a gift and the key is to tap into that gift and amplify it. That's where people find their biggest successes, maximize their impact and find the most personal enjoyment. She started her career in law as a litigation attorney in New York and found the most joy came from partnering with people to solve complex issues and get to the best result possible for all sides. She is a lifelong friend of Heather and Kyle and wants to amplify The Love for Liam Foundation as a foundation that brings hope, love, understanding and support to families impacted by Epilepsy. She's honored to serve as part of The Love for Liam Foundation Board.
Jacquelin Brown is a lifelong friend of Heather and known for her passion and loyalty. She built a career around her organization and task management skills before moving on to take the role of CEO at the Brown household in Baltimore with husband, Zach and two sons, Ian and Colin. She has the honor and privilege to serve on the Board of the Love for Liam Foundation, to provide support and raise awareness for pediatric epilepsy.
Jennifer Casas has been a special educator for over 15 years. She is passionate about helping others and giving back to the community. She is honored to be part of the Love for Liam Foundation to help increase awareness of epilepsy disorders. Jen has been married to Mike for 13 years and they love being kept busy by their beautiful children, Tyler and Landyn.
Danielle DeVilbiss serves as a board member for the Schuster Foundation which provides philanthropic support to various urban Baltimore families and schools. She has also served on the board for Loyola University School of Education and is an advocate for 2020 Mom, a national maternal mental health non-profit aggressively closing the gaps in maternal mental health care. Danielle is honored to serve on the Love for Liam Foundation's board and is passionate about enhancing genetic epilepsy research. Danielle resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband Eric and three young children.
Jennifer Ellis is the Director of Investor Relations at CenterSquare Investment Management LLC. She is involved with several nonprofits, including the MIP Foundation, whose mission is to foster and promote mental health support and social services for adolescent and young adult Oncology patients. Jenn resides in Flourtown, Pennsylvania with her husband Mike and their two daughters, Emily and Abigail. Jenn is passionate about raising awareness and funds to support the work being done by CHOP through the Love for Liam Foundation.
Matt Festa spends his days with his wife Katie and daughter Avery, and as a proud Uncle to Liam. He serves as VP of Media Buying at AVC Media Group in Woodbury, NJ, providing clients with results driven traditional and digital advertising solutions. As Liam's Uncle, he is honored to be a part of the Foundation and raise awareness for pediatric epilepsy in Liam's name.
Katelyn Festa is Liam’s aunt. She is a high school science teacher. She is honored to be a board member for the Love for Liam Foundation. The mission of the foundation combines two of her passions: science and helping/educating others. Katie resides in New Jersey with her husband Matt, daughter Avery, and dog Winnie.
Eric Fischgrund is an entrepreneur and founder of FischTank PR, Boom Local and The NIL Deal. He supports and works with several nonprofits, and is passionate about applying his marketing and business experience to philanthropic endeavors.
Tim is a passionate family man - blissfully married since 2015 and father of three wild ones - Josie, Nate, and Maeve. Tim serves as Vice President of business development for International Raw Materials, a commodity marketing firm based in Philadelphia. When not playing with the kids, Tim enjoys all manner of competitive athletic pursuits. Tim is overjoyed to be a member of this board, working to support this critical cause and honor baby Liam.
Miriam Roberts is Liam's mom-mom. She is an Accounting Manager and is currently an active member of the Archbishop Ryan High School Board of Limited Jurisdiction. She is a former Founding Member, Treasurer, Board Member, Event Planner and Fund Raiser for several non-profit groups associated with Archbishop Ryan High School. She is honored and proud to be a member of the Love for Liam Foundation along with others who share the same passionate purpose of supporting research and development of genetic testing for epilepsy and neurodevelopmental disorders. The end goal of finding successful treatments and cures that will give babies and children born with these disorders a better quality of life provides the most heartwarming inspiration of all.
Donald “Tripper” Sivick is a Managing Director in Securitization Finance at RBC Capital Markets. He is active in a number of nonprofits, including serving on the Board of Trustees for Bigs and Littles NYC.
Kathleen Weiland is a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist who is passionate about finding treatments for Epilepsy as she has watched its devastating effects on many of her patients and their families and then firsthand with Liam and his beautiful family. Kate is honored to be Liam’s godmother and to be a member of the board and to give back to others in this capacity. She is driven by the possibility of providing hope and helping improve the quality of life of children who suffer from epilepsy. Kate resides in Horsham Pennsylvania with her husband Matt and three children Grace, Jake and Braelynn.
